Terms of Service

Effective April 1, 2026

Agreement

By creating an account or using the Jidoka Cloud API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The open-source Jidoka CLI is licensed separately under Apache 2.0 and is not governed by these terms.

The service

Jidoka Cloud provides a hosted API for submitting testability scorecards, tracking historical scores, managing API keys, and accessing team dashboards. The testability analysis itself runs locally on your machine using the open-source Jidoka CLI.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys.
  • One person or organization per account. Shared credentials are not permitted.
  • You may delete your account at any time from the settings page.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Exceed your plan's API call limits through circumvention.
  • Use the service to harm, harass, or impersonate others.
  • Reverse-engineer the hosted API infrastructure.
  • Resell API access without written agreement.

Plans and billing

  • Free tier usage is subject to the published limits.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Intellectual property

  • Your source code is yours. Jidoka Cloud does not claim any rights to code you analyze. The local CLI never transmits source code.
  • Scorecard data you submit to the API is yours. You may export or delete it at any time.
  • The Jidoka name, logo, and cloud service are the property of Eric Mumford.

Disclaimers

  • The service is provided "as is" without warranty. Testability scores are informational — they do not guarantee code correctness, security, or fitness for any purpose.
  • We do not guarantee uptime for the free tier.
  • Enterprise SLA terms are defined in separate agreements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jidoka Cloud's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
